THE AREOLA FRAMEWORK · A · ALIGN
Align
Improve symmetry, refine results, and correct what feels off.
Most breasts are not perfectly matched, and slight differences are normal. For some people the difference in size, shape, position, nipple or areola is something they want to address, or something that remains after earlier surgery.
Aligning is about refinement: planning changes that bring the two sides into better balance, and fine-tuning the nipple and areola where size, shape or position feel off.
Procedures under Align
Each page below explains one option in detail, including what it involves, who may consider it, recovery, scars and risks.
How the options differ
- Asymmetry. Differences in volume, shape or position can be approached in different ways, depending on what is causing the difference.
- Nipple and areola. Size, shape and position of the nipple and areola can be refined, alone or together with other breast surgery.
- Refining a result. If an earlier result feels off, revision can be planned around your current anatomy and goals.
Questions worth asking
- What is causing the difference, and what can realistically change?
- Which side or feature bothers me most, and what is my priority?
- Can the nipple and areola be refined in the same operation?
- What are the limits, and what should I expect from recovery?
Start with a conversation
A consultation covers your goals, an examination, the options that suit your anatomy, and the risks and trade-offs, so you can decide at your own pace. It might lead to surgery, to a different procedure, or to no surgery at all. Booking a consultation is not booking surgery.
